Charge d'Affaires Harish Baxla chaired a meeting on 2nd March 2026, attended by the Embassy officials on "Seva Sankalp Resolution" asked by the Union Cabinet of India. He read out the Seva Sankalp Resolution emphasizing the need for continued dedication to service with integrity and accountability aimed at ensuring citizen-centric governance and furthering the ease of living.

Eight (08) Indians from Karnataka who were stranded in Chad have finally returned to India by today's flight. They were stuck in Chad due to expiry of their visas and overstay. After having got their visas extended through local Immigration Authorities, the Embassy of India managed to arrange their return to India. They took today's flight to go back to their home town in Karnataka.
