OLAM Ghana yesterday came through and brought me this gift made for me with treated spaghetti for my work with the company spanning since they came to Ghana.

They said the artwork was done by a young Ghanaian artist.

Ghana Moves to Fast-Track Accra Marine Drive Project with Inauguration of Technical Committee

Government has inaugurated a Technical Committee to drive the implementation of the Accra Marine Drive Tourism Investment Project, a key initiative aimed at transforming the capital’s waterfront into a world-class tourism and commercial hub.

Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, described the move as a critical step to accelerate progress, stressing the need for efficiency, collaboration, and accountability.

The Committee, chaired by Deputy Minister Yussif Issaka Jajah, will coordinate stakeholders, address bottlenecks, and ensure timely delivery of the project.

The initiative is expected to boost tourism, create jobs, and stimulate economic growth, reinforcing Ghana’s commitment to sustainable development.

Ghana Makes History with Launch of First Marine Protected Area

Ghana has marked a major milestone in environmental protection with the launch of its first-ever Marine Protected Area at Greater Cape Three Points in the Western Region.

Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang described the initiative as a bold step toward sustainable marine management, highlighting the need for strong collaboration to protect Ghana’s marine resources.

Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, emphasized the importance of the Marine Protected Area for tourism, livelihoods, and cultural preservation, noting its role in conserving biodiversity and promoting sustainable tourism.

This initiative forms part of Ghana’s broader blue economy agenda and reinforces national commitment to climate action and marine conservation.

Film Producers Association of Ghana Engages Ministry on Data-Driven Growth for Ghana’s Film Industry 🎬🇬🇭

The Film Producers Association of Ghana has engaged the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts to strengthen collaboration and advance Ghana’s film agenda.

Representing the Minister, Hon. Yussif Issaka Jajah emphasized the need for accurate data to guide investments, capacity building, and industry development.

The Association presented key challenges and proposals to support growth, while stakeholders including Gideon Aryeequaye and Kafui Danku pledged their support toward building a more sustainable and globally competitive film industry.
