The fifth international data storage technology conference will be held in bangkok, thailand. the technical program of dst-con will consist of plenary talks, oral and poster presentations. submitted papers should describe original work in the form of theoretical modeling, design, experimental validation, or case studies from all areas of data storage technologies but in particular focusing on new emerging paradigms and application areas including but not limited to:
1. recording head & madia technology
2. mechatronics & servo systems
3. read channel techology
4. automation technology
5. esd & contamination
6. tribology in hdd
7. data storage techology & applications
8. production and operation management
9. mechanical component design
10. other related areas

Dear DST-CON 2011 Participants and all,
Due to the flood situation in our country, especially in the vicinity of Bangkok area, BOI has announced the postponement of BOI Fair 2011 and re-schedule the event to be on Jan 5-20, 2012. As a results, the event of DST-CON 2011 which is hosted as a part of BOI Fair 2011 will be postponed accordingly. Soon after we have set the exact date, we will let you know. DST CON 2011 For the last three years, DST-CON has contributed seamlessly and widely over the data storage technology. The focus areas range from material science and engineering, design and simulation, system integration, process and manufacturing aspects, to production and logistic management. DST-CON has served as a forum for academia, researchers, and engineers to exchange and disseminate the latest research and development in the data storage technology.
