Ambassador Brosnan attended the solemn commemorations on the 111th anniversary of the Gallipoli campaign. The Ambassador remembered those who participated, particularly the thousands of Irishmen who went to Gallipoli and those who lost their lives.

Büyükelçi Brosnan, Gelibolu Harekatı’nın 111. yıl dönümü vesilesiyle düzenlenen anma törenlerine katıldı. Başta Geliboluya giden ve hayatını kaybeden binlerce İrlandalı olmak üzere, savaşta yitirilen tüm askerlerin aziz hatırasını andı.

To mark 75 years of diplomatic relations between Ireland 🇮🇪 and Türkiye 🇹🇷 in 2026 and St Brigid’s Day, the Embassy organised a Women in Diplomacy event. A warm thanks to and the Ankara diplomatic community for their participation. Highlighting the theme of “Blazing a Trail”, the event included an exhibition of stories of Irish diaspora women and their impact around the globe.

Türkiye ve İrlanda arasındaki diplomatik ilişkilerin 2026 itibariyla 75.yılı ve Aziz Brigid Günü vesilesiyle, Büyükelçilik olarak Diplomaside Kadınlar konulu etkinliğimizi düzenledik. Katılımları için Ankara diplomasi camiası değerli üyelerine içten teşekkürlerimizi sunarız. “Blazing a Trail” temasının sergilendiği etkinliğimizde, İrlanda diasporası kadınlarının hikayeleri ve dünya çapındaki etkileri de vurgulandı.
