Ambassador Dr. Yousaf Junaid attended a seminar titled “Strategic Stability in South Asia—post Maarkaa-e-Haq”, held at Institute of Strategic Thinking (SDE). Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Junaid highlighted that strategic stability in South Asia can only be sustained through credible deterrence, responsible statecraft, meaningful dialogue & adherence to international law. Pakistan seeks peace with dignity, stability with justice & coexistence based on mutual respect.

The Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara, in collaboration with Ankara University, organized a cultural and academic event titled “Pakistan Türkiye Relations: Cultural Interaction from Khilafat Movement to Present Day.”

The event brought together parliamentarians, academics, diplomats, students, and members of civil society to celebrate the deep-rooted historical, cultural, and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Türkiye.

Speakers highlighted the centuries-old bonds between the two countries, shared cultural heritage, linguistic connections, and the importance of strengthening academic and people-to-people exchanges.

The event also featured vibrant cultural performances by Pakistani students, including poetry recitations, Qawwali, traditional dances, and cultural displays showcasing the richness of Pakistan’s heritage.

The ceremony concluded with a reaffirmation of the shared commitment of Pakistan and Türkiye to further deepen their enduring friendship and cooperation. 🇵🇰🤝🇹🇷
