Trinidad and Tobago established the National Drug Council, in accordance with the internationally recommended structure for a national entity, established by statute, and responsible for overseeing the implementation of all aspects of drug control. On September 17th, 2025, The National Drug Council, in collaboration with CICAD’s institutional strengthening unit, recognized the theme for UNODC: the evidence is clear – break the cycle and presented a copy of the diagnostic study on Gender in the Criminal Justice System in Trinidad and Tobago.
