At WEHAF we are happy when we make our children happy! We extend our gratefulness to the incredible team of volunteers supporting us.
Good morning world! Here is our superbly skilled sewing teacher sharing his knowledge with our mamas. So proud of them all. Please share and support.
One of our signarure projects: teaching our mamas how to make sustainable and eco-friendly paper bags. Fun and super rewarding!
It was founded in 2017 with the aim of supporting widows who are affected with HIV/AIDS by empowering them. As an organization we provide free sewing and bakery classes, we teach how to make paper bags and liquid soap, and we currently opened a day care class for the children of the women, while they are attending their classes. We are currently looking for donors who would support our organisation with the health care fund for the women, as they have to attend the hospital very often and there is no health insurance in Tanzania. Also, we are struggling to provide the teacher's salaries every month and the equipment needed for the mamas in the sewing class, as well as administration costs. Our plans are furthermore to provide sewing machines and bakery equipment as a start capital to the women once they complete their class.
