Back in the day...

Tanzania Kilombero South: flashback around 20 years back...PD with one of the biggest Lions in body size I ever saw in Tanzania. In those days one of the best areas for Simba! On average it used to take us only 7 days to find a big, old single male Lion and most of them without baiting! It als probably had the highest density on Buffalo, Lion and Puku population of Tanzania! Sadly to say: because of herdsmen with their cattle moving in, poisoning, poaching, etc....it's all gone.. most likely lost forever...and why? International sanctions left us with no value on wildlife and no dollars from international hunters to protect remote areas and outfitters and Ph's moving out...you get the message?😪😪

Truly miss the "Good Ole Days..." When hunting was still hunting, not the politics, economics and social slush it is today!
