Partnership for Nutrition in Tanzania - PANITA PANITA was registered as an independent coalition in April 2013.

Yesterday August 28, 2025, PANITA in collaboration with Tanzania Food and Nutrition Center (TFNC) hosted a one-day Post-N4G Summit Stakeholders’ Engagement Meeting with SUN Networks, government ministries, CSOs, and key nutrition partners.

This collaborative dialogue focused on translating N4G pledges into action through collective ownership, aligning with NMNAP II priorities for sustainable impact.

The outcomes of this meeting will shape the roadmap for implemention of the N4G pledges, strengthening accountability, and ensuring alignment with national nutrition priorities under NMNAP II.

PANITA kwa kushirikiana na Taasisi ya Chakula na Lishe TFNC Tanzania imeendesha mafunzo kwa vyombo vya habari ili kuongeza uelewa wao juu ya michakato ya “Nutritionfor Growth”, hali ya lishe nchini, mipango ya sasa ya serikali, na jukumu la vyombo vya habari katika kuboresha lishe na kuongeza uelewa wa umma juu ya masuala ya lishe.
Mafunzo haya yanatarajiwa kuongeza uelewa miongoni mwa wanahabari kuhusu masuala ya lishe na nafasi katika shughuli zao za kila siku katika kuboresha hali ya lishe nchini.

Today PANITA ( SUN CSA in Tanzania) Had the pleasure of hosting the SUN Civil Society Alliance from Nigeria (CS-SUNN)for a cross learning visit under the Partnership for Improved Nigeria Nutrition Systems (PINNS) 3.0 project.
This strategic initiative is focused on strengthening civil society's contribution to the scale-up of Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (MMS) programs. Beyond knowledge exchange, the visit also aimed to foster deeper cross-country collaboration between Tanzania and Nigeria in the shared mission to advance nutrition outcomes across both nations.
