This morning 16-May-2024, I had a lengthy meeting and discussion with some investors who are planning to invest in construction of a water factory in Arua City.

I thanked them for energizing the NRM manifesto on Socio-economic Transformation by coming to invest in Uganda which will offer more jobs for the locals.

They embraced my advise and pledged to continue involving me in their subsequent consultation meetings for the investment.

The weekly meeting for the Thanksgiving Ceremony going on this evening 4-May-2024 at Eden Hotel (former Matongi) in Central Division Arua City.

The COC Committee for the Ezama Ham Mizamil Thanksgiving Ceremony, having a clear objective to thank HIS Excellence Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for the tremendous developments and appointments in WestNile region, has continued to mobilize big number and categories of people regardless of gender, political party / political interests and religious affiliations.

With permission from the COC, I presented to members in the meeting, the designed order of protocol that will be used on that day, 8-June-2024 which will be the D-Day for the ceremony.

I advised members in the meeting not to, in anyway bring tribal or political confusions.

I urge members of the public to continue coming for the weekly meetings in which the COC Committee brings reports on various sectors in organisation of the event and we also welcome ideas for the success of the celebration.

Our COC team for the Ezama Ham Mizamil Thanksgiving Ceremony, spent the better part of Wednesday 17-4-2024 in having meetings with key offices and stakeholders both in Central Division and Arua City to inform them about the event.

During the brief one-on-one meetings we held with the office of Regional Internal Security Officer (RISO) WestNile, Regional Police Commander (RPC), Resident City Commissioner Arua City, City Internal Security Officer (CISO), City Town Clerk, Central Division Mayor, Central Division Town Clerk and Office of the Muslim District Khadi, we were not only able to formally inform them but we also gave and explained to them the Aims and Objectives of organizing this Thanksgiving ceremony which has been scheduled to take place on 8-June-2024 in Arua City where President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will be the Guest of Honor.

We were encouraged by their gratitude, positive engagement, technical guidance and total support pledged towards the success of this Mega Thanksgiving Ceremony for us as the people of WestNile to thank President Museveni for the appointments and developments he has rendered in this region.
