President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni met a team from Uganda Medical Association led by Dr. Oledo Samuel Odongo. They discussed the issues of the deployment of Doctors, the recruitment of workers and improvements to the health sector. They also talked about boosting the Health Workers’ SACCO.

Mrs. Jane Barekye, the State House Comptroller visited the Office of National Chairman in Kyambogo today. Special Presidential Assistant Hajat Hadijah took Mrs Barekye on a guided tour around the office to witness the work carried out by different departments.
The State House Comptroller also used the opportunity to meet and interact with different groups that had gone to the ONC. One of the groups she met was the Uganda National Students Association (UNSA)Official which she handed 170 million, fulfilling a pledge made by H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to the student's body.
Mrs. Barekye concluded her visit to the ONC with adding her voice to other prominent Ugandans to pledge her support and endorse H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to contest again for the position of president in the forthcoming 2026 elections in the country.
