Namubiru Rashidah, a PDM beneficiary from Butambala District started rearing goats with PDM money and has multiplied her business. Today, she has eight goats, with three about to give birth. She has also diversified her endeavours and has an acre of coffee. This is a true testament to what we have been telling Ugandans all this time: fight poverty by engaging in wealth creation activities.
This money is not for the government; it is for the wananchi. Like Namubiru did, use that money, and after 24 months, return it to your SACCO so that others can borrow. We are considering increasing it to Shs200 million per parish.

H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni congratulates Hajji Mohammed Zziwa Katanyoreka, an established farmer in Mpigi District.
He manages 5 acres of land with 2,000 layer chickens, 1 acre of coffee intercropped with bananas with 4 dairy cows.
From poultry alone, Hajji earns UGX 550,000 daily more than many in offices. This is what NRM emphasizes, hard work and productivity.
Though Hajji and Hajjat are Muslims, their diligence reminds me of the parable of the sower- some seeds fell on good soil, grew, and bore fruit. That is what they have done through careful planning (ekibalo).
H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni thanks them for putting our teachings into action. We will continue to support them.

The UPDF is an army that has evolved from a liberation force into a professional army grounded in strategy, ideology, and patriotism.
At every stage, pan-Africanism has been our guiding principle, shaping our purpose, training, and regional responsibilities. We are not just building an army for Uganda but creating a force for Africa’s liberation, stability, and unity.
Pan-Africanism is not merely theoretical. It is the reason we started and remains the reason we serve.

Uganda’s economy has experienced significant growth, increasing twenty-fold since 1986. We now have a GDP of US$ 61.3 billion, with purchasing power parity (PPP) estimated at US$ 174.2 billion.
We have successfully exited the status of a Least Developed Country (LDC) and entered the ranks of middle-income nations. As a result, both poverty and inequality are declining.
The fundamentals of our economy are strong, and the future looks bright.

The issue concerning number plates is not about fines; it is fundamentally about crime prevention. H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will not accept Ugandans dying because of inadequate infrastructure. Every vehicle must have a digitized number plate that can be traced by a central authority, allowing for the monitoring of cars and boda bodas present in specific areas. This matter transcends financial considerations; it is primarily about security. People are acting with impunity, and this concern extends beyond mere fines. It is about ensuring the safety and security of all Ugandans.

Owobusobozi was once a Catholic, but he observed the divisions created by religious identity in the past. He chose a different path - not to build another denomination, but to form a movement grounded in unity and transformation.
This is similar to the parable of the Good Samaritan. Jesus asked: "Who is truly your friend among those who passed by?"
