I don’t even know where to start because words can’t carry the kind of love I feel for you. You’ve been my safe place, my biggest cheerleader, and the reason I believe in love and strength. You’ve fought silently, prayed loudly, and smiled even on your hardest days just to make sure we were okay.

Today, I just want you to know — you’re more than just my mother. You’re my hero. And if I turn out to be even half the person you are, I’ll be proud of myself.

May this new year bring you peace, health, laughter, and everything your heart has ever whispered for in the quiet. I love you more than I can say, and I thank God every day for choosing you to be my mom.
