: Nabaasa Innocent Kashobera officially nominated for Rukungiri Woman MP Contest

A Message to the People of Rukungiri

As a duly nominated candidate for Rukungiri Woman Member of Parliament by the Electoral commission , I extend my heartfelt congratulations to my team and to the people of Rukungiri. This milestone belongs to all of us—it is a step forward in the journey we are taking together.

I am committed to leading with integrity, honesty, and transparency, guided always by the Holy Spirit.

Today is a deeply meaningful day—not just for me, but especially for the young people of Rukungiri. While I stand as a leader for everyone—young and old, women and men—I have a special connection to the youth. That’s why I deliberately chose young people to be my nominators. I want them to know that it is possible. Possible to lead, to believe in themselves, and to boldly step into the unknown. Leadership is not reserved for a select few—it belongs to all of us.

If elected, my term in office will focus on empowering young people and women through skills development, job creation, value addition, and poverty reduction.
In short, I stand for prosperity for all.

Let’s do this, my Rukungiri people. Let’s do it together. Let’s reclaim our victory.

In 2023, I had the privilege of visiting Los Angeles for the first time. It was a truly memorable experience, especially reconnecting with nature in the stunning California mountains. It deeply saddens me to hear that some of the iconic places I visited, including Malibu and Hollywood, have been heavily impacted by the Palisades fires. My heart goes out to everyone affected. May God provide strength, comfort, and hope to all as they navigate through this challenging time.

Todays word of God
Ephesians 4:26 If you become angry, do not let your anger lead you into sin, and do not stay angry all day.
Ephesians 4:27 Don't give the Devil a chance.

Ephesians 4:29 Do not use harmful words, but only helpful words, the kind that build up and provide what is needed, so that what you say will do good to those who hear you.

Ephesians 4:31 Get rid of all bitterness, passion, and anger. No more shouting or insults, no more hateful feelings of any sort.
Ephesians 4:32 Instead, be kind and tender-hearted to one another, and forgive one another, as God has forgiven you through Christ.
