Today, 23 November 2025, I had the privilege of chairing a meeting with representatives from all 11 districts of the Busoga region. Our discussions centered on the 4-Acre Model farming approach and strategies for mobilizing the entire region to embrace this transformative agricultural system.

I was greatly encouraged by the enthusiasm expressed during the meeting. Many participants showed readiness to offer land for our upcoming demonstration farms, along with the necessary labour and support needed to make this initiative a reality.

It was truly a fruitful and inspiring morning spent with committed farmers who are eager to drive agricultural transformation in Busoga. We shall soon schedule another meeting to finalize the modalities for implementing this promising program.

I surely know one time there will be awards of people who take tea organized by tea growing and grading companies! I will take home one of them😅😅😅
