Every girl deserves the chance to dream and the opportunity to turn those dreams into reality.
When young girls are given access to education, encouragement, and positive role models, there is no limit to what they can achieve. Sometimes, all it takes is seeing a story that reflects their own potential to spark a belief in themselves.
Through films like Round of Applause, girls are reminded that their voices matter, their ambitions are valid, and their futures are worth investing in. Education opens doors, but confidence, inspiration, and community support help them walk through them.
The sky is not the limit, it is only the beginning.
Powerful conversations, shared reflections, and hopeful voices filled Gulu City schools as learners and community members gathered for the screening of the ‘Round of Applause’ short film.
Using storytelling through film, we continue to shine a light on the importance of safe learning spaces, empowering girls, and communities coming together to protect and support every child’s future.

We're building a future where every girl is protected, valued, and empowered through stronger institutions, increased gender equality awareness, and improved access to vital health information and services.
What changes when the lights come on?
A writer finds more hours to dream.
A welder keeps working.
A family feels safer.
A community moves forward.
Access to clean energy is doing more than lighting homes, it is powering livelihoods, creativity, and new possibilities for communities across Uganda.
Every connection tells a story of resilience, progress, and a future built brighter together.
The land remembers.
It remembers fear, displacement, and survival. But today, it remembers resilience.
From just 30 members to a thriving cooperative of 2,800 farmers, Agali Farmers’ Cooperative is proof that when communities come together, recovery becomes transformation.
More than farming, this is about rebuilding lives, restoring hope, and growing a future that works for everyone with a vision reaching 30,000 farmers strong.
A powerful story of courage, resilience, and legacy.
