Ever known that Mary Stuart Hall which was completed in 1953, Makerere University was named after Mary Stuart; the wife of Bishop Stuart is the bishop behind Bishop Stuart University-Mbarara? Well, Mary Stuart is up todate known due to her active contribution to girl child education in Uganda.

Therefore if Ugandan's are to save its people, culture and nation at time X, preservation of documentary heritage should be apriority. Therefore, surrender all that you have that you see can be of value yesterday, today and tomorrow to our nation to the National Library so that we can digitize.and preserve it for future generations.

Uganda set to launch adigital library of Uganda's documentary heritage. Event comung soon. Meanwhile, consultative meetings and training workahop of stakeholders in the North, East, West and Central Uganda was concluded on the 24th March 2016. This trainings were aimed at creating awareness and capacity buulding on participants to embrace the value of preserving national heritage so as to save our people, culture, traditions and nation. We therefore call for collective responsibilty by all to achieve this goal.
