RLDTA is an Umbrella Association of indigenous Lorry Transport Associations in Uganda, founded in 2008 and registered in 2010.

Platform for Transporters with a common goal of bridging the gap between the Government and the Trucking industry, Sharing views and creating awareness for an organised and profitable Lorry Transport industry. Besides, the Transport Industry lies under the private sector & it should be noted that it's one of the sectors that have employed a big number of people,both the literates and illiterates. So in order to make it more profitable, Transporters should get a sense of uniting with one voice
