Uganda Halal Bureau and the Uganda Small Scale Indsutries' Association have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This MOU is geared towards using halal certification as a technical and trade tool for the growth of small scale industries in Uganda.

🌙 Ramadhan Drive 2026 – Bombo

Alhamdulillah, together with SALAM TV , we spent part of this blessed month in Bombo at Bombo Secondary School, sharing Ramadhan hampers with students and members of the surrounding community who pray at the masjid within the school.

This was the second part of our Ramdhan Drive.

It was a simple but very meaningful visit — filled with warm smiles, kind duas and a beautiful reminder of what Ramadhan is truly about: caring for one another and showing up where it matters.

Uganda Halal Bureau is honored to receive 20 cartons of Light Brown Sugar from Kinyara Sugar Ltd, a valued halal partner, in support of our Ramadhan 2026 outreach to needy Muslim families.

The contribution was authorized by Mr. Sekhar Veedi, Marketing Manager of Kinyara Sugar Ltd, and formally received by Mr. Serunjogi Moses Akram, Public and Corporate Relations Manager, Uganda Halal Bureau.

It is inspiring to see halal certified product manufacturers not only uphold standards of excellence, but also extend compassion and responsibility to the community.
