LEBOLD NEWS!!!
The mansion is SOLD! New owner should take over mid November.
You’ll be happy to know, the new owner, Catina, plans to continue producing the parties, themed events, and movie nights. She was actually born in Abilene and will live here with her family. Catina has a theatrical background and will be the life of the party!
YES! Joseph Tatner will be hosting his Halloween trick-or-treat event at the mansion one last time this year, and Catina will be assisting. We have a pirate theme this year! A schedule of old-time monster movies in the theatre and tour nights will be posted soon.
NOTE FROM JOSEPH: Heartfelt thanks to all of you for the love and support you all have shown me over these past 5 years. I truly love and appreciate you all! I thought I would live in the mansion until I died, but God had other plans. A year ago I felt a strong calling to return to the seminary to become a Catholic priest. I studied many years ago. I have literally sold all that I have, including my 3 cars, the mansion, and everything in it. You will still see the two Tatmobiles around town. I have leased a new Honda HR-V so I have reliable transportation and all that I still own fits in the trunk. I have no idea where I’m going yet, and honestly, it is highly unusual for a person my age to be ordained. It will take a miracle, but miracles DO happen. I must follow this call wherever it leads. I will most likely still be around town until next year, as studies will begin in January or February. Pray for me, and may God bless you and all those you love!

LEBOLD MANSION: Built in 1880, this amazing property resembles the Addams Family Mansion. This is the private home of writer, actor, singer, dancer, and producer Joseph Tatner, who offers tours by appointment, ghost hunts, dinners, and other events. A $10 donation is requested per person for tours.

Local church scholar and speaker Joseph Tatner will present Questions and Answers Catechism, an open, loving, respectful and honest discussion on the history and theology of the Christian Faith. All are welcome. Each evening will begin with a short presentation on some topic of the Faith, followed by open questions from the attendees. Water, sodas, and usually some snacks will be available. Feel free to bring something to share if you like. No charge.
