The Force was strong at Battle for the Circle ✨

When our original mission didn’t go as planned, Oak Lawn Band stepped in like true Jedi and saved the day with an out-of-this-galaxy performance of Star Wars-themed music.

Huge thanks to them for coming through when it counted and to everyone who joined us to celebrate May the Fourth. You made it a night to remember.

The Addison Athletic Club Outdoor Pool is opening May 23, and we can't wait to see you! Before you dive in, here are a few quick reminders to guarantee fun in the sun:
☀️Be sure your membership is up to date! Renew at the Athletic Club front desk before opening weekend. The inside facility will be closed on Memorial Day.
☀️The AAC is now cashless, so bring a card or tap-to-pay option if you're bringing a guest!
☀️Please leave inflatables at home. Coast Guard-approved life jackets including puddle jumpers are welcome and we have lifejackets available at the outdoor pool desk!

Grab your towel and sunscreen, we'll see you poolside! 😎🌊

UPDATE: Due to Rainy Conditions we are moving the Earth Day Celebration to the AAC Parking Lot!

Celebrate Earth Day with Addison Parks and Recreation!
Happening tonight at Les Lacs Park from 4-6pm.

We will be discussing a variety of different Earth Friendly topics with free roaming educational booths and will end the celebration with a LIVE ladybug release in the park!

Update: With the amount of rain we have received over night, we have made the decision to cancel our grass volleyball tournament to protect the integrity of our parks. Thank you to all of the partners who worked hard on this event and all of the participants who signed up.

Addison Outdoors has partnered with Out of System to bring a Grass Volleyball Tournament to Addison Circle Park! This first-time tournament is bringing the heat with competitive play, great energy, and an awesome community atmosphere.

This action packed event has filled and we are no longer accepting teams, spectators are still welcome as there will be a variety of vendors, food, music, and entertainment.

A little post-storm cleanup is in the works 💧🌧️

Both the Groves Fountain at Addison Circle Park and the large fountain at Quorum Park are taking a quick spa day this week for draining and cleaning after the recent storms. We’ll start at Quorum Park, then head over to Addison Circle Park.

Good news: both fountains should be back up and flowing by Friday!
