Whether it’s lounging, playing, or just keeping you company, he’s happiest when he’s included (and he’ll make sure you don’t forget it).

UPDATE: Dog has been reunited with its family!

Our Animal Services team responded to a call from Public Works about a small dog seen running along Belt Line and found her in a stormwater overflow drain, sitting quietly in the water. With teamwork and quick action, Officer Davis safely climbed down and brought her to safety.

This sweet girl appears to be a white or cream Schnauzer, about 3 years old, wearing a white collar with a faded pink flower. She does not have a microchip or tags, and we would love your help reuniting her with her owner.

If you recognize her, please contact our Animal Services team at 972-450-2845 so we can help get her back home. 🐾

Last Friday at our Pet Adoption Event at Java & Hopps, TWO sweet animals found their forever homes 🐾❤️

And we’re not done yet!

We’ll be back at Java & Hopps tomorrow from 10am–2pm with more adorable pets ready for adoption.

All municipal buildings, including the Athletic Club and The Addison Performing Arts Centre, will open at noon on Tuesday, January 27. The municipal court facility will also open at noon on January 27; however, morning Zoom hearings will proceed as scheduled for their specific times.

Staff will continue to work virtually in the morning where possible. Please feel free to reach out through the website directory at www.addisontx.gov/Government/Departments.

The January 27 City Council meeting will continue as scheduled for January 27. Public Comments will be available in person or by phone. Residents who would like to participate by phone must sign up in advance by emailing the City Secretary, Valencia Garcia, at [email protected]. Requests should include the speaker’s name, address, and contact information and must be submitted by 3pm on Tuesday, January 27.

Bulk trash collection will be delayed due to clean-up efforts.

Wheeler, Ponte, and Bella Bridges remain closed due to icy conditions. Please continue to seek alternate routes.
