In hopes of helping spread the news on Albertville's codes and to prevent hard work from being done twice we have decided to put out a few videos explaining a little bit of what's available and what might help if you are uncertain.

the first is a video about bulk!
-ever see things on the side of the road and it just catches your eye? hopefully this video helps explain what can't be out there, how much, and when to expect pick up!

the second video is all about Residential grass and lawn care! lets face it it is a bit toasty and rainy out there and grass loves it and so do mosquitoes and other pests. this video helps show what to look for and how to take care of things before they get out of hand.

Sorry lto all of our lawn care companies unfortunately most of the options we talk about here are not available to you buuuuuuut a future video will help explore choices for you.

thank you all!
please enjoy the memes - Sammy

🚫🦟 Fight the Bite is Coming Up! 🦟🚫

Join the City of Albertville Code Enforcement Department for a FREE tire disposal event at the Downtown Albertville Farmers Market!

🗓 April 17th & 18th
⏰ 10 AM – 2 PM

Old tires aren’t just an eyesore - they’re also a major breeding ground for mosquitoes. Even a small amount of rainwater trapped inside a tire can quickly turn into a hotspot for mosquito larvae, creating a nuisance for you and your neighbors.

Bring your unwanted tires and let our team take them off your hands. Standard vehicle and commercial tractor tires accepted.

✅ Open to all Albertville residents
📬 Please bring a piece of mail or ID for proof of residency

Let’s work together to keep Albertville clean, safe, and mosquito-free. See you there!

Albertville Code Enforcement is hosting a free tire disposal event to help protect our community from dangerous mosquitoes. Discarded tires collect rainwater, creating ideal breeding grounds where mosquitoes can multiply quickly and spread disease. By taking advantage of this opportunity, residents can safely dispose of old tires, eliminate standing water, and help reduce mosquito populations throughout Albertville. Ask a Code Enforcement Officer for more information!
