Art with Friends:
Diamond Art Workshop (Ages 16+)
Sunday May 17th from 2:30pm to 4pm
Meeting Room A at the Allen Public Library
This program is free to all attendees.
Join the Friends as we create works of art with diamond jewels. Each participant will go home with a book-related coaster and a small work of art. All supplies are included.

Allen 150 Fest is almost here!
While the Library will be closed for the festival on Saturday, April 25, you can still see us celebrating on Coats Drive! We have a booth filled with crafts, trivia, balloon twisters, free seeds, and more! Visit our booth from 3-6 p.m. to participate in the fun!

No materials will be due while the Library is closed. Please keep your checked out materials until we reopen to the public on Sunday, April 26 at 2 p.m. Our exterior book drop will not be available while we are closed.

Get involved with the Allen Public Library as a VolunTeen!
Our summer VolunTeen applications will open Monday, April 27 at 10 a.m. and will close Monday, May 4 at 5 p.m. for middle and high school students ages 13-18.
As a VolunTeen, you can help our Library with Summer Reading during June and July by assisting in programs, preparing crafts, and more!

We hope you will join us for this important event, which enables our organization to provide informed content to our citizens before the Allen election.
This event will be live-streamed on the City of Allen station, and a link to the recording will be available on the Friends of the Allen Public Library website following the event.
