Last night, we celebrated the graduation of our 2026 Citizens Fire Academy class! 👏🚒
Over the past several weeks, these citizens stepped into the boots of the fire service—driving an engine, cutting open vehicles during extrication training, climbing ladders, completing the Physical Agility Test, learning proper fire extinguisher use, CPR, Stop the Bleed, and so much more.
Thank you for your time, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn more about what it takes to serve the Allen community. We loved sharing this experience with you and are proud to welcome you into the Allen Fire family. Congratulations, Class of 2026!

We're proud to be a part of this interdepartmental initiative within the City of Allen!
In honor of Water Safety Month, Mayor Baine Brooks presented a proclamation to key employees and departments responsible for ensuring water safety in the city.
The Allen Fire Department, Allen Parks and Recreation, and the city’s Environmental Health Department host free CPR classes for residents. The city’s health department also regularly inspects 140 public and semi-public aquatic facilities throughout the city, making sure safety standards are in place to help reduce water-related illnesses and incidents.
The city thanks and congratulates these departments for working together to keep water safety a priority all year long.
