Kian was dropped off at AHS with the first group out of Texas at 3:45am. Their flight will be taking off soon and then they will spend the day at the Santa Monica Pier

Then we three left at 5:30am for Love Field and made it through TSA past drug sniffing dogs and are sitting down for breakfast before our flight.

A year of planning, payments, anticipation, excitement and anxiety is all paying off starting today! Let’s get this party started! 🤩

Loved getting to Read with the Eagles at Preston Elementary last Friday!!

It was a wonderful morning to read with the Eagles! 🦅 I loved being able to visit Story Elementary and see the excitement of ALL the students to be a part of it. 🅰️🆙

Let’s go Eagles! Volleyball District opener, love seeing a full Eagles Nest Student section and so much community support! (Bonus- got a photo with Tuffy and Tuffette!)

I was privileged to go to Olson Elementary’s Meet the Teacher tonight and be able to snag a picture with Mr. and Mrs. Olson.

I also saw my youngest local campaign helper and she asked for a picture together (posted with mom’s permission).

To top the evening off, I asked Dr. Ivey if she would take a picture with me - Dr. Ivey was the AP at Reed Elementary when my boys were there and we share many wonderful memories together!

It was wonderful to see friends and neighbors come in the door and be able to welcome them to their newly renovated school. 🦦 🏞️

What a wonderful opportunity this morning to be able to see the end result of work that began on Project Kids almost two years ago!

Members of the Allen ISD Board of Trustees received a sneak peek of the campus renovations at Olson Elementary School today. We are so excited for all our Otters to see their amazing "new" school during Meet the Teacher tonight from 4:30-6:00 p.m. (Monday. Aug. 11th). Thank you to our community for supporting the 2024 Bond Proposal that made this renovation possible.

Then a quick jaunt over to be a Cheatham Charger with Ms. Cheatham…⚡️

And finally, I ended the night as a Lindsey Lone Star with Ms. Lindsey!! ⭐️

I’m thankful that Amanda Campbell was on site at Preston Elementary, because I don’t think I could have fit another school in! 😅

I’m excited to get to know the students, staff and families at these four schools this semester!!

Convocation yesterday! I love a theme and it was great to see the whole district come together to celebrate the beginning of the year.

I forget to take pictures at these events because I get so caught up in the moment, but I caught a couple this time and had Jeff take my picture in front of the first day of school tree before I left.

It was so exciting and wonderful to see friends from all the different campuses that I know and to wave to the new teachers that I met this week.

The vibe was electric and I loved seeing how each campus used creative ways to show school pride in line with the magical theme.
