Calling it a mental health crisis when people are drowning in poverty is like blaming them for not swimming hard enough.
You can’t therapy your way out of poverty any more than you can outswim the ocean and sometimes it’s easier to call it a mental health crisis than admit people are drowning in an economy built to keep them underwater.
People aren’t failing to cope, they’re being asked to survive the unsurvivable.
Mental health care matters, but if the system keeps drowning people, therapy alone becomes swimming lessons in a flood.

Trauma may be one of the greatest mission fields of the 21st century. .langberg
People are not only looking for answers they are looking
for safety, healing, connection,
and someone willing to sit with their pain without turning away.
The mission today is often
less about having the right words
and more about becoming a safe presence in a wounded world. ❤️🩹

Hope is a team sport.
When we choose to show up and serve side by side, we bring hope, dignity, and love to our neighbors.
This is how hope moves.💛

Today we had the honor of showing up for our community
serving food, sharing love, and meeting practical needs.
It’s always a win when people walk away feeling loved and cared for. 💛

Why Do We
Love The Way We Do?
Understanding Attachment & Relationships
Most of us were never taught why relationships feel the way they do.
Why some of us:
• pull closer when we feel distance
• shut down during conflict
• overthink conversations afterward
• long for connection but feel unsure how to sustain it
