The Lehigh Emergency Services Training Academy (LESTA) invites firefighters, EMS providers, law enforcement officers, emergency managers, and other public safety professionals to an important presentation exploring the psychological impact of a career in emergency services.

Event Purpose
The Protective Measures Course provides participants the foundational knowledge to identify risks and vulnerabilities to a facility, venue, or event and identify various types of protective measures to mitigate an Improvised Explosive Device threat. Participants apply concepts introduced throughout the course with hands-on activities.
Who Should Attend?
This course is intended for audiences such as:
• Critical infrastructure owners and operators
• Public safety officers
• Emergency managers
• Security officers
• Law enforcement officers
• Private sector security professionals

Registration Information:
Online registration will be completed through the FEMA Center for Domestic Preparedness. Students require a FEMA Student Identification (SID) number to register. Registration information will be provided by the hosting agency once the course has been scheduled.
