Laury’s Station VFC is running a Fireground Support Bridge program on the evenings of 5/26, 5/27, and 5/28 at Laurys.

The Bridge program will allow anybody who has completed "Mod 1" and "Mod 2" to test for the new Fireground Support NFPA certification level. This is great for any 14, 15, and 16 year old's you might have who were "stuck" waiting to take Mod 4 and an SBS to test for Fire 1.

Please have all students register on PA Train as Bucks does not have the curriculum built yet into campus marketplace.

Lehigh County EMA and LESTA are sponsoring a presentation from Dr. Nicole Sawyer on her topic “From Caves to Cocklofts”.

Description: While our bodies have long stepped out of the cave and onto the curbs of our communities, our brains continue to guard us like we just learned to walk on two feet. Our ever-vigilant survival brains keep us safe and effective at our jobs but over the long term our bodies and minds struggle to stay well. We’ll be digging into the psychology of a public safety career. How has the service changed our bodies and minds? What are we doing to ourselves, what do we have to accept, and what can we change? With honest (sometimes harsh) reflection, we will begin to hold ourselves accountable for our own psychological health and build understanding and skills to support the next generation.

There will be 2 sessions and con-ed for EMS Providers is approved for 1.5 hours.

Session 1: July 22nd 2026 1300-1430 hours
Session 2: July 22nd 2026 1800-1930 hours

Location: Lehigh Carbon Community College, Community Services Center (Ballrooms) 4525 Education Park Dr Schnecksville PA 18078

Registration: https://forms.office.com/r/jqTMUTvuW7
