🚨🔥 PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE – PLEASE HELP OUR DISPATCHERS & FIREFIGHTERS! 🔥🚨

Due to the high winds associated with Hurricane Isaias and the dry conditions our area is experiencing, we are seeing an increase in uncontrolled fires throughout our area. These conditions make it much easier for fires to spread quickly and become dangerous situations for everyone involved.

⚠️ PLEASE REFRAIN FROM BURNING THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND! ⚠️

While there is currently NO OFFICIAL BURN BAN IN PLACE, your 911 dispatchers and local firefighters are asking you, as a favor to our community, to please hold off on all outdoor burning until conditions improve.

Our firefighters are working tirelessly to protect lives, homes, and property, and our dispatchers are working hard to coordinate emergency responses. The increase in preventable fires puts an additional strain on our emergency personnel and resources.

🙏 PLEASE HELP US HELP YOU! We are asking nicely because we care about your safety, our community, and the men and women who respond when you need us most.

❤️ Let’s give our firefighters and dispatchers a much-needed break and help keep everyone safe this weekend!

🚒 NO BURNING = FEWER FIRES = SAFER COMMUNITIES!
