While we await PSEG’s approval and delivery of a new transformer for the west side of the Library, work continues both inside and outside the building! We don’t want to spoil the surprise, but we’ve included a few photos to give you a glimpse of what’s taking shape.

We are hopeful that our Grand Reopening will take place soon! As with any major construction project, unexpected obstacles still continue to arise, but we are making progress and working hard to get our doors back open as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we continue to operate with limited services at the VFW, located at 300 Broadway, and are doing our best to serve the community as the project nears completion.

We sincerely appreciate the patience, kindness, and continued support of the Amityville community throughout this process. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call us directly at 631-264-0567 or email us at [email protected].
