On April 14, the Amitofo Care Center International’s Education Development Program school had an educational tour for grade 0. The places of interest were the Eswatini air-wing and fire station department around Matsapha. The moment the journey commenced, the learners were eager and showed a lot of exuberance towards the experience. The area we first visited was Matsapha air wing, where learners had the eye-opening experience of observing a plane at close proximity. Not only did they observe a gigantic plane, but they were also educated on different types of planes and their uses. More so, they were aware that the planes were used for training soldiers to upgrade their skills in the military. The unfortunate part leaners could not enter the planes as they were locked. Furthermore, student visited the fire department where they were taught how the fire department operates and the pivotal role it plays in ensuring the safety of people and property in the country. The leaners observed the different equipment used in preparing for emergencies and in preparing for emergencies and the way they are used to extinguish fires. Leaners and the liberty of touching most of the equipment, and it was an enchanting experience as most leaners were queuing for an experience. It was an eye opening tour as leaners took a lot of interest.

School trips are an eye-opening experience. Amitofo Care Center International’s Education Development Programs in Eswatini school has been embarking on such trips to help students have a better understanding of events unfolding in the country. On April 15, 2026, the grade ones and twos had a chance of visiting the Matsapha air wing. They were educated on the air-wing services, which sharpen the skills of soldiers in different compartments. More so, they had a breathtaking experience of climbing a passenger boarding bridge, which most students were keen on having a chance to climb. The second place we visited was the Mbabane fire station, where learners were taught about the dangers of fire in the country and its implications on the economy of the country if neglected. Not only did they learn about the dangers of fire, but they were exposed to the features of the watch-room and the siren wailed, which rattled most students, which was quite an enchanting scene as most leaners fled the scene. Finally, yet importantly, learners visited Hoof Beat Zulwini, where each learner rode a bike, and most of them enjoyed the experience so much that it was a mammoth task to collect learners when we wanted to leave the Place. These school trips are not only educational but also broaden students' adventurous zeal.

Giving (dāna) is the first of the Six Pāramitās practiced by bodhisattvas, and it is an excellent practice on the path to enlightenment 🌱. It helps reduce our own greed while benefiting others 🤝. Even with power or status, we should not become proud when doing good deeds, but cultivate equality toward all ⚖️.
There is a story in Chapter 24, Ekottarika Āgama:
The Buddha once stayed in the Monkey Grove at Vesālī with 500 monks 🏞️. A general named Siṃha came to see him and respectfully bowed 🙏.
The Buddha asked, “Siṃha, do you still practice giving?”
The general replied that he gave food, clothing, transport, and other necessities to all who needed them.
The Buddha praised him and taught the five benefits of generosity 🌟:
1.Good reputation
2.Fearlessness like a lion 🦁
3.Respect and joy from others 😊
4.Good rebirth in heaven or as a respected human ✨
5.Growing wisdom and liberation from suffering 📖
Anyone who gives with a joyful heart will receive these benefits.
True giving is not attached to form—it is “giving without attachment” 🌸. After giving, we feel grateful that others accept, allowing us to form good connections 🤝. It is an act of respect and gratitude 💛.
Amitofo Care Center receives offerings from all directions and provides children with daily meals 🍚, clothing 👕, accommodation, and education 📚. It also shares resources with those in need in the local community.
Amitofo Care Center International’s field programs in Mozambique sincerely thanks the Rotary Club (Hong Kong Northwest Division) and donors worldwide 🙏🌍. Because of their generous support, we are able to provide monthly food and assistance to those in need locally 🍲🤍.
reduce our own greed while practicing giving local community in mozambique the bodhisattva path oneself while also benefiting others

From Lesotho’s Amitofo Care Center International’s Education Development Program to Medical School: Medical Student NkoalaMaboee
In 2023, NkoalaMaboee ranked fifth nationwide in Lesotho’s Grade 11 national exam. This year, carrying the blessings of the entire Amitofo Care Center home, he set off for Zambia to officially pursue medical studies—becoming the very first medical student nurtured by the Amitofo Care Center InternationalEducation Development Program in Lesotho.
From the beginning of his journey in an orphanage, to excelling in national exams, and now stepping into medical school, it hasn't been an easy road. His academic performance has consistently been near perfect. But what stands out even more is his discipline and humility: respecting teachers, caring for classmates, and never once arriving late or leaving early—earning him the admiration of younger peers.
In an environment lacking medical education resources, the country program director never gave up, tirelessly seeking opportunities. With the loving support of every sponsor parent, what was once a difficult path has gradually opened up—allowing the dreams he carries to finally have a clear direction.
On this day, Pearlwas not only sending Nkoala Maboee off to Zambia, but also joyfully witnessing a child stepping into the beginning of his future.
We sincerely thank everyone who has accompanied Nkoala’s growth. Because of love, real change is happening.

Because every child deserves a taste of happiness.
Before the April holiday arrived, the adults had already begun planning:
What meaningful activities could we arrange for the children during these few days?
Someone suggested, “Why not learn how to make steamed buns?”

We believe that education shouldn't be confined to a desk. Ms. Aino brings this vision to life by leading our children through play, engaging their senses, and letting language and numerical concepts flow naturally through songs and movement. Every interaction is a seed of inspiration, helping children build a strong foundation for their cognitive and physical development.
Watching that spark of understanding light up a child's eyes is, without a doubt, the most rewarding and joyful part of being a teacher.

On 21 March 2026, Amitofo Care Centre Lilongwe international aid field team journeyed to Katela CBO, T/A M’bang’ombe—where compassion met community.
We served 50 families with essential provisions—maize, salt, soya beans, cooking oil, and sugar—supporting their daily needs.
Beyond sustenance, we listened to the silent struggles of the elderly—offering care for their pains and illnesses.
Though aid was limited, the needs were great—a humbling reminder that service must continue.
In the presence of the Senior Chief and youth leaders, hearts were united in gratitude and hope.
A gentle reminder—our work continues, with deeper compassion and stronger resolve.
