This organic garden is a demonstration and education project for the TJMS, started as a Girl Scout Silver Award project by Cadette Troop 557, with a portion of the produce going to the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) to support the broader Arlington community through its "Plot Against Hunger" program. We’ve been keeping an eye on the weather this morning, and it’s just too wet for us to work in the garden today. Stay tuned, we will likely harvest on Tuesday instead. (And say thanks to the diligent TJMS Garden Club who harvested 62 pounds of produce yesterday so we don’t have to get wet today!)
