Vincent Lopez is a Mexican American entrepreneur, financier, and the Founder & Managing Partner of the Lopez Capital Associates, LLC (LCA), which manages investments in various industries, including government contracts, global affairs, healthcare, technology, and media.
The company recorded its greatest levels of innovation and growth under his leadership to include major sponsorships of MLB, NHL, & NBA teams, 2019 acquisition of TARN Outdoor Co., expansion of global footprint in Europe, Egypt, and Asia, and the launch of the LCA Sound Studios and LCA Motion Pictures.
Mr. Lopez is a Managing Principal of Empower Capital, a New York-based investment banking and advisory firm. He's the Co-founder of Praxis & Co. Management a boutique restaurant, and development group. Additionally, he's founded Govy Tech, Inc., and Co-founded Kinetic Link, LLC.
He founded the Lopez Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, which focuses on establishing lifelong success in our schools, communities, and our working world. The Foundation believes in its core principles to "Teach, Inspire, Empower, & Lead" the next generation.
Throughout his career, Mr. Lopez has held several esteemed positions to include, a 2015 nomination by Governor Tom Wolf (D-PA) to the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, Board of Governors. He completed a Fellowship in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) education targeted in minority neighborhoods, with President Obama's Organizing for Action. He's worked for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Subsequently, he has worked for notable U.S. Government Contractors.
He is managed by Gerson Lehrman Group, a global consulting & speaking firm, where he advises America's small business and Fortune 500 companies on policy, government contracting, and risk mitigation. Mr. Lopez is a technical, innovative, and robust proposal writer winning his clients over a $100M in Federal contracts & grants. Mr. Lopez is a member of the Executive Leadership Council, the National Small Business Association (NSBA).
In July 2019, nominated and confirmed by the Virginia Democratic Party, Democratic Latino Organization of Virginia, Mr. Lopez serves as the Vice-Chair of Northern Virginia. He began his life in the political world, as a young kid, invited to speak at the National Press Club honoring Hispanic Heritage Month. Mr. Lopez has been a voice for the most vulnerable members of our communities. He's headed strikes advocating for fair pay & benefits with Labor Unions, a voice for affordable housing, marched to protect the most basic human rights and lobbied for affordable access to quality education.
In 2020, he started JUNTOS "Together" PAC, a registered political action committee focused on electing Latinos, women, and minorities. He has appeared as a guest or contributor on CNN, CNN Latino, NBC News, NBC 4, Fox News, and the Rick Smith Show.
Mr. Lopez is a 32° Scottish Rite Mason, a Shriner, and an active member of many Masonic lodges, including the renowned Alexandria-Washington Lodge No. 22. He’s a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows & the Order of Knights of Pythias.
He serves on the Board of Directors for Blue Bridge Alliance, Blue Bridge Foundation, DaVinci International Film Festival, Arlington Centennial Temple Corporation, and chair of the Kemper Macon-Ware Scholarship Foundation.
A native of Sacramento, California, Mr. Lopez was raised in Arlington, Virginia, by a hardworking single mother. He studied at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in English, political science, and government (Pre-law). He is a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt.
Mr. Lopez is a member of the University Club of Washington, DC., and a member of Springfield Golf & Country Club. He’s an avid fan of Formula 1 racing, horse racing, and fishing.
