Mark your calendars for the Wakefield Jazz Cafe, Friday, May 15!

The Town Hall will be transformed into a Jazz Club with music provided by Gunston Middle School, TJ Middle School and Wakefield High Jazz Ensembles. Bid on the silent auction and enjoy appetizers during this magical evening.

Tickets available in advance or at the door; auction bidding begins May 8.

My name is Gracia Melendez, and I serve as the Class Sponsor for the Wakefield High School Class of 2029 Student Government Association.
I am excited to share that our class has been approved to host a fundraiser with Kendra Scott, which we hope will be our largest fundraising event of the year. We would greatly appreciate the PTA’s support in helping us share this opportunity with our school community.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 25th from 12:00–2:00 PM. We would love families to come out, meet our SGA 2029 members, and support our class through their purchases. In addition, we have a custom Wakefield necklace designed specifically for this event, which makes for a perfect gift with Mother’s Day weekend approaching.

WHS students are invited to shop this week at our annual Formals for $5 Prom Boutique. We have new and gently used dresses in all sizes and styles. We also have suits and tuxedos. We will be outside of the cafeteria….come shop!

Wakefield High School’s robotics team has qualified for the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri — and they need your help to get there! This is only the second time in APS history that a team has earned this honor (the first time was a Wakefield team too!).
