An eight-year-old girl called 911 and whispered through her tears, “My dad and his friend did this… Please help me!” 😨 When a police officer arrived at her home and saw the horror unfolding there, he was completely shocked 😱😳
In fifteen years of working as an emergency dispatcher, the woman had answered thousands of calls. She had spoken to people involved in accidents, callers whose relatives had lost consciousness, and children who had been left home alone.
But one afternoon, she received a call she would remember for the rest of her life.
“911, what’s your emergency?”
For a few seconds, there was silence on the other end of the line. Then a faint child’s voice broke through.
“It was my dad and his friend… Please help me.”
“Sweetheart, try to stay calm. Tell me your name and how old you are.”
“I’m eight. My tummy hurts so much. It’s gotten so big, and I can barely even walk.”
The girl spoke through her tears, stopping several times to catch her breath.
“Where are your parents right now?” the dispatcher asked.
“Mommy’s sleeping. She hasn’t been feeling well for a few days. Today I tried to wake her up, but she barely responds. And Daddy went to work.”
The woman immediately realized the situation was serious.
“You said your dad and his friend did this. What exactly happened? Did you tell your dad you weren’t feeling well?”
“Yes, but he said it was nothing serious. I asked him to take me to the doctor, but he got angry and told me to go to bed.”
The dispatcher immediately sent a police officer and an ambulance to the address.
A few minutes later, a patrol car pulled up outside a small, single-story house.
A blonde girl in a floral dress opened the door. She was barefoot, looked very pale, and held one hand against her stomach.
The officer knelt in front of her.
“Hi, sweetheart. Were you the one who called 911?”
The girl nodded.
“Please help me. My stomach hurts so much, and Mommy won’t wake up.”
