🚧Main Ave. Road Construction🚧
It has been quite a year of construction on Main Avenue, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete these much-needed improvements.

Through additional funding from the Appalachian Community Grant Program, the City will be resurfacing Main Avenue from W. 44th Street to W. 48th Street. Koski Construction will perform the work, with the following anticipated schedule:

October 20th – 21st – Roadway Milling
Parking spaces will be temporarily closed in areas where milling is taking place. We have asked that spaces be reopened as soon as it is safe to do so as work progresses. Traffic will remain open with traffic control in place.

October 26th – 27th – Roadway Paving
Main Avenue will be closed to both traffic and parking within the project area so the paving can be completed as quickly as possible.

Roadway & Parking Space Striping
An additional day of traffic and parking disruption will be necessary for striping. We are awaiting confirmation of that date and will communicate it as soon as it is scheduled.

During these closures, we encourage visitors to utilize the parking deck and the KeyBank parking lot.

All dates are weather dependent, but we believe there is a good window to complete the work as scheduled. Our goal is to have all paving and striping completed by October 30th.
