I am proud to announce that next Friday, December 4 at 3:00pm, I will be sworn in as Clayton County’s next Chief Magistrate Judge!
I TRULY would LOVE to invite all of my extended family who live around the country, all of my friends, all of my classmates from Lovejoy High School, Spelman College, and North Carolina Central University-School of Law. I WISH I could invite all of my campaign supporters and all 93,459 citizens of Clayton County who voted for me on November 3. However, as you all know, we are in the mist of a national pandemic - so my desire to have a large swearing in ceremony can NOT happen. However, we are blessed that we have technology. I will live stream my Swearing In Ceremony on Facebook and Instagram LIVE. Although we cannot be together in person, I invite everyone to tune in and watch from the comfort and safety of your homes.
