This sweet boy was just dropped off at Public Works. Please help us find his home! Super sweet and lovable! If you know where he belongs please call City Hall at 770-599-3679
Good morning, Senoia!
Public Works will be conducting hydrant flow testing Monday, 3/23, starting at 9 am in Springdale and South Ridge subdivisions.
Crews will flush in this area once testing is complete to mitigate discolored water issues. It is not always possible to flush all of the discolored water out of the system so do not be alarmed if you see any. The water is still safe to use for all normal activities and does NOT require a Boil Water Advisory.

This sweet girl was picked up on Pylant Street. If you know where she belongs please contact City Hall or the PD as soon as possible!
Edit: micro chip said her name is Maxine
The water will be shut off on Horseshoe Bend and Johnson Street between the Railroad and Seavy Street starting at 1 pm for approximately 2 hours to repair a leak. This area will be under a Boil Water Advisory for approximately 24 hours after repairs are complete.
Good afternoon! We have had numerous calls in reference to the water quality issue in Heritage Pointe. The well that was the problem has been turned off and the hydrants have been flushed so this should have resolved the issue. The water is safe to drink and bathe with.
The City of Senoia is preparing to launch a new initiative that will allow council, staff, and residents to communicate directly when they see something that needs to be fixed or updated. Under the code name “Next Level” we will be using a dedicated email box ([email protected]) to gather pictures and requests for items that need attention. Training is being scheduled for Public Works, Police Department and City Hall as they join our residents as “eyes and ears” on the street. Help us take Senoia from good to great.
Good morning, Senoia!
Public Works will be conducting hydrant flow testing again this afternoon in Standing Oaks and Willow Dell.
Crews will flush in this area once testing is complete to mitigate discolored water issues. It is not always possible to flush all of the discolored water out of the system so do not be alarmed if you see any. The water is still safe to use for all normal activities and does NOT require a Boil Water Advisory.

Be prepared for even lower temperatures tonight and protect your pipes from freezing!
🌡️ When temperatures drop, your pipes feel it too.
Wrap exposed pipes, let faucets drip overnight, and open cabinet doors to keep warm air circulating.
A few simple steps today can prevent costly leaks tomorrow!

📢 OFFICE CLOSURE NOTICE 📢
All City of Senoia Administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026 and are slotted to reopen Tuesday at normal business hours.
This decision has been made out of an abundance of caution due to possible impending icy road conditions in the morning. Our priority is the safety of our residents and staff.
Please stay tuned to local weather updates and drive safely if you must be out. We look forward to serving you once conditions improve! ❄️🚗
