This Saturday at 9:00 AM, Republicans from Precinct 7 will gather for the Republican Party of Gregg County Precinct Convention at 2802 Gilmer Rd., Suite 5 in Longview.

The precinct convention is where the process begins that leads all the way to the State Convention. It’s your chance to help shape the direction of the party, elect delegates, and get more involved with the local Republican movement right here in Gregg County.

If you’ve ever wanted to do more than just vote… this is where it starts.

I believe campaigns should be grounded in truth.

My opponent has repeatedly claimed she has influenced education-based legislation in Texas. What bills? What legislation? What laws?

Legislative involvement is not subjective - it is documented. Texas House and Senate journals clearly reflect who authors legislation, who works it through the process, and who is formally involved. Committee hearings are public record, and testimony is archived and easily verified.

I have found no record of her authoring, sponsoring, speaking, influencing any legislation. I don't know anyone in the Capitol who knows her. Not the Chairman of House Public Education Committee. Not other House members. Not Senators. I've been the sitting member of the House from her home district for the past 5 Sessions and I have no record of her even ever visiting my office as a constituent.

Facts matter. Records matter. And voters deserve honesty. My voting record for the past 5 Sessions, plus Special Sessions, is all public. I regularly meet with constituents during Legislative Session, I answer my cell phone from the House floor and I respond to comments on social media, while my office fields calls and emails. I can't promise to always agree with the 204,000 East Texans I am proud to serve, but I can promise I will continue to serve HD 7 with transparency, integrity, and respect for the truth - because that’s what you expect and what you deserve.

Friends and fellow Republicans,

The role of a JP is serious work. It requires sound judgment, respect for the law, and the ability to make fair, timely decisions that affect people’s lives, property, and liberty. Donna Blalock is uniquely qualified to do exactly that—**from Day One**.

Her experience as a **municipal judge** means she already understands the courtroom, judicial procedure, evidentiary standards, and the responsibility that comes with the bench. There is no learning curve here. She is prepared, experienced, and ready to serve immediately.

Just as important, Donna is a **proven conservative**. She has **never voted for a Democrat—ever—**not in partisan races and not even in so-called nonpartisan municipal elections. That speaks volumes about her principles, her consistency, and her commitment to conservative values.
