With Memorial Day weekend coming up, we are excited to see families out enjoying the Splash Pad! Please help us keep the Splash Pad running smoothly and safe for everyone to enjoy by following these important guidelines:
Splash Pad Enjoyment Guidelines
Outside toys and objects can create safety hazards, spread bacteria, and damage the splash pad's filtration system. The following items are prohibited:
• Water balloons
• Water guns / super soakers
• Buckets, noodles, floats, and pool toys
• Large inflatables or chairs
• Sidewalk chalk
• Sports equipment including skateboards, skates, and bicycles
• Hazardous objects such as rocks, sticks, and leaves
Why are toys prohibited?
Broken water balloons and small toy parts can clog drains, damage equipment, and create choking hazards. Toys can also carry dirt and bacteria into the splash area, contributing to the spread of illness.
To ensure a safe and family-friendly environment, the following are not allowed:
• Food, gum, and beverages are prohibited in the splash pad area
• Alcoholic beverages
• To***co and v**e products
• Drugs or drug paraphernalia
• Glass containers or breakable items
• Weapons of any kind
• Party decorations, cakes, balloons, or gifts
• Sound amplification equipment (speakers/radios)
• Camping equipment including tents, canopies, tables, and chairs
• Animals, except service animals
Unsafe behavior is also prohibited, including:
• Running, pushing, throwing, cartwheels, or rough play
• Wrestling, dunking, or “chicken fighting”
• Jumping from benches
• Spitting water
• Violence, abusive language, or threatening behavior
• Intoxication or lewd conduct
• Nose blowing, urinating, or defecating in the water
Only press the Emergency Stop Button in a real emergency.
Using the button for non-emergencies can interrupt service and impact everyone’s ability to enjoy the Splash Pad. Your cooperation helps us keep the Splash Pad running smoothly, safely, and open for all visitors.
By working together, we can help ensure a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone all summer long. Thank you for helping us keep the Splash Pad a fun place to enjoy for our community!
