Lilburn City Election at City Hall/Library is tomorrow, Nov. 4 from 7:00-7:00. Over 450 people voted early, so lines might not be a problem. There are lots of exciting things happening in our town and I hope you will trust my 13 years of service and leadership with your vote for me. You know my favorite phrase, "I hear what you say, I'm gonna watch what you do." Please consider that principle when you vote tomorrow. Don't forget a YES vote on the referendum caps house value tax increase at 8% regardless of how much the county says your house value increased and raises the homestead exemption for seniors from $10,000 to $50,000. Keep our City Council in proven hands.

Early voting at City Hall ends tomorrow at 5:00. Election Day is next Tuesday, 11/4 from 7:00-7:00. I am posting my Biography Card outlining my qualifications and the opportunities to serve Lilburn that I have had over the past 13 years. I also have my Issues Card that points out the principles that guide me as I consider issues that come before the City Council. I have rung a lot of doorbells in the last 8 weeks and had some great interaction with the folks of Lilburn. I have about 75 yard signs out in yards of people supporting my re-election. You know my saying, “I hear what you say, I’m going to watch what you do.” These folks have been watching what I do.
I hope you will give me the opportunity to continue serving our wonderful community on your City Council.

Personal Request!
We are half way through Early Voting on our way to Nov. 4 Election Day. I have a request for my friends in the Lilburn area. Whether you live in the city limits or not you do have friends who can cast a vote. I would ask you to consider posting on your personal page an endorsement of me for Re-Election. If you have already voted for me, please say so. It is a real encouragement as I ring doorbells and reach out to the community. Feel free to use the Policy Card on this post as it outlines the issues important to me and guides me as I make decisions for the future of our city.
Early voting is really easy at City Hall from 9:00-5:00 each day except Sunday until 10-31.
There are so many exciting things happening in our town and I look forward to serving you and being your voice in the future of Lilburn.

As early Voting continues in Lilburn, there is a Referendum item on the City of Lilburn ballot as well as the 2 City Council seats.
The item puts an 8% cap on future home value increases for city tax purposes. The house evaluations are done by the county. If the referendum passes with a YES vote two things will be in place starting in 2026:
The amount your city taxes can increase is capped at 8% even if the county values the house higher than 8%. If an increase is less than 8%, that amount is the increase. If a decrease is forecast, that decrease applies.
• 2. The homestead exemption for Seniors, 65+ will increase from $10,000 to $50,000.
Please be sure you understand the referendum as you vote. I would be glad to answer any question you have at [email protected].

With early voting at City Hall underway, I want to endorse my friend and co-laborer on the City Council, Michael Hart. We have served together for 4 years and I have seen Michael be a mature, thinking servant of our community. Integrity and expertise are gifts we all get with Michael on our Council.

Early Voting at City Hall starts today, 9:00-5:00. Avoid the lines today through 10-31 including both Saturdays.

City Council plays a vital role, but its focus is on non-partisan issues like economic development, parks & recreation, public safety, public works, and zoning & planning.

While schools, healthcare, and jobs matter greatly, they are outside the council’s authority. Knowing this helps voters choose leaders based on what City Council truly impacts in their community.

I want to echo and agree with what my friend, Michael Hart is saying in this video. We have served together and are both running for re-election. His clarification of the City Council areas of oversight is crucial to voters making an informed decision. Please consider voting for me and Michael to give us the opportunity to keep Lilburn moving forward responsibly.

I indicated on this Policy Card a commitment to Transparency and Trust. I suspect most candidates say this but I have done my best to make it an action for the 6 years that I have served Lilburn on the City Council. I have made myself available by attending just about every public gathering in Lilburn. The Mayor has held 20+ Town Hall meetings and I have been at every one. Food Truck Tuesday in the Park as well as all the concerts are opportunities to hear from you. I am always there. I have been an active part of the Lilburn Business Association to hear from the Business Community. As we go into October with early voting starting 10/14, I welcome the opportunity to hear from more of you. I am walking the city ringing doorbells, and would be glad to be at any gathering you might like to put together. I have done my best over these 6 years to gain your Trust as someone who will listen, gather the facts, and make a decision good for Lilburn.
My e-mail is [email protected]. If you would like me to come to a gathering, please contact me.
