This is Adriana Smith. She is an Atlanta nurse who was declared brain dead in February while pregnant.

Her baby boy was delivered this week, and now, her family is preparing to say goodbye to her. She will be taken off life support today.

Remembering the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr

Today we celebrate the actual birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He would have been 95 years old.

Dr. King dedicated as well as gave his life for his dream. He said these words at the March of Washington August 28, 1963,

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.

The dream is still alive at it is our goal and desire to see all people experienced all of their God given legal rights.

We at DFLA continue to see the dream that all unborn babies are allowed to live and thrive and to pursue their own personal dreams.

That is how we will honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr
