There are only 3 weeks left of our CMES Summer Explorer Camp, and we’d love for your child to join us for the fun, learning, and adventure!

This week our admin team worked together with other district leaders at the FCS Leadership Retreat to plan an amazing 2026-2027 school for all of our Miners!

School supply shopping has been extended through June 14!

A note from Nurse Michelle!

We have a few quick reminders for all those planning on attending the 5th Grade/Senior Memory Walk tomorrow at CMES. The walk begins promptly at 11:20. Please plan on arriving with enough time to pick up your preprinted badge (if you RSVPed and your ID was on file) or have your ID scanned (if your ID was not on file). Please wear your Cap and Gown! We are so excited to see you tomorrow!

On May 13th, two members of the Chestatee River Chapter of the DAR presented three of our Miners with special state-level America 250 art awards! Way to go, artists!

In addition, this fabulous DAR chapter has also displayed ten pieces of art created by our very own Miners in the theatre entrance of the old schoolhouse at 100 School Street in downtown Cu***ng! They are on display through July 1. Way to go, artists!

What a way to wrap up an incredible school year! Our final GEM Jam at CMES was filled with smiles, laughter, music, and celebration as students enjoyed the rewards of their hard work and success throughout the year.
