Honored to be recognized by Governor Kemp and First Lady Marty today. Serving Georgia and my constituents has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. I am deeply grateful to have worked alongside so many leaders at the State Capitol and back home in the communities I represent.

HB 907 has received final passage, which will assure parents know about dropout recovery services for students at-risk of dropping out and affirms parents’ rights.

HB 1293 has received final passage, making a technical college program statewide that help students ages 18-22 to receive a high school degree and in demand job skills.

HB 1123 has received final passage, which will help working families by making afterschool care available to Pre-K students.

Enjoyed welcoming Zachary and James to the Capitol, who are homeschooled students from North Fulton, along with Zachary’s mother Shannan! It is always a pleasure to have an opportunity to connect with constituents and share about the work we’re doing at the Capitol.

Proud to sponsor a resolution celebrating Pre-K Week and the good work our teachers perform for our youngest learners. Georgia Pre-K serves 70,000 4-year olds in public schools and private childcare centers through lottery funds.
