Honoring those who have made a lasting impact! πŸ“š Through partnership with Coosa Valley Credit Union, retiring educators from the Cherokee County School District are being recognized with books donated in their honor to Cherokee County branches of the Sequoyah Regional Library System. Thank you to these educators for the lasting impact they’ve made on generations of students and our community. 🍎

Thank you to State Representative Rick Jasperse for your donation of $250 to support prizes for our Slice of Summer Challenge! πŸ•πŸ“š

The Slice of Summer Challenge encourages community members to read for 30 minutes every day during the month of May for the chance to win a $10 gift card to a local pizza restaurant.

With the $250 donation from Representative Jasperse, there are now an additional 25 gift card prizes to pizza restaurants in Pickens county for community members to win.
