Quick update as we have been extremely busy with our newest project in Jefferson that will open early September. Lots of Grab + Go items, Take Home Meals and a Daily Rotating Hot Lunch. Address is 95 Lee Street, Jefferson 30549. More details to follow….We can’t wait to see you!

Meet Al Westmoreland! He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1966. After graduation, he went to Gainesville Junior College where he played basketball for two years. Al transferred to the University of Georgia where he attained a B.S. in 1970 and a Master’s degree in 1973. He went on to teach and coach basketball at Hart County for five years. Al met and married Anita, who is a pharmacist, she worked at Athens Regional Hospital for 39 years.

Meet William and LouAnn Puckett! William and LouAnn grew up in Jefferson and met at Jefferson High School. They became parents at 16 years old. Nearly 4 decades later, they share their story, to anyone who will listen, of overcoming life’s struggles. Together they founded Street Love Ministries, a local homeless outreach, as a way to show those considered the least, the last, and the lost that there is a better way to live.

Meet Travis Noland! Coach Noland is married to his wife, Julie, and they have three boys. He is from the mountains of Western North Carolina where he grew up in the paper mill town of Canton and lived there until he graduated from college. Life in Canton was pretty simple. People knew everyone, were hard-working, and most jobs revolved around the paper mill. Coach Noland went to Appalachian State College and played football. He is the head football coach at Jefferson High School.
