Alexus, Ashley , Brooke & Greg attended & repped GC4R at Self-Discovery 24 RCO "Spring Into Recovery" event this past Saturday. The rain didn't stop us and we were at The First United Methodist Church in Toccoa.!!

Maternal Peer Support Academy 1 has finally come to fruition🙌🏽🙌🏽. What a truly inspiring group of leaders, women in recovery. Maternal Peer Support🤰🏽👩🏽‍🍼 strives to have a meaningful impact on the recovery and wellness of ALL women through unwavering support, advocacy, and unconditional acceptance. We share our lived experience and connections within the community, aiming to empower mothers through the challenges and joys of motherhood.

Over the last decade, Laurisa has served GC4R in many different capacities, helping shape the organization into what it is today. Through growth, challenges, change, and countless milestones, Laurisa has remained a steady and compassionate leader dedicated to both our mission and the people behind it.

As Executive Director, Laurisa leads with authenticity, kindness, and heart. She continuously creates space for recovery, hope, and connection while supporting staff, peers, and the community with unwavering compassion🫂🫂. Her leadership has helped guide GC4R through seasons of transformation and expansion, always keeping people and purpose at the center of the work.

Ten years of commitment, service, and leadership is an incredible accomplishment, and we are deeply grateful for the passion and care Laurisa pours into GC4R every single day.
