A Feeling of Hope

Dear All, I am writing to share that the past few days have been eventful. Regrettably, our representative from Feeling of Hope in Uganda has been involved in a serious accident, and my presence is required to finalize projects. Notably, I need to visit the bank where Feeling of Hope has an account. I would be grateful for any donations towards the purchase of a roundtrip plane ticket. On Thursday, 8th of May, FoH went to the village Poromgo. It is located approximately 90 minutes outside of Gulu.
Many people, including the victims of r**e, the reverend, and 5 men who worked at church were all there . While spending time with these special girls, and giving them love, hugs, and understanding FoH was freely given 3 1/2 acres of land! Now it is in the bishop’s office.

Time was 9:30am on Friday, 9 May, when FoH was at a very popular place in Gulu, spreading hope and inspiration. We cleaned, swept areas, picked up trash, and had a tent with chairs, creating a welcoming space. FoH gave away shirts with collars (pink and yellow), pens, notepads, business cards, and bottles of water, empowering the community. Many people came, sat, and asked questions, seeking guidance. We met girls who have been r**ed and they opened up for the first time ever, taking the first step towards healing!

This past March Afoh was in Uganda. We started planting seeds a few years ago and now flowers are starting to grow!
One of our visits was at Bbaale in the Kayunga district. Afoh was giving toothbrushes, toothpaste, and lots of hugs with love.
