Today, on Peace Officers Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women in law enforcement who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting their communities.

We are forever grateful for the courage, dedication, and selflessness of our fallen officers. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As you go about your day, please keep their families, loved ones, and fellow officers in your thoughts and prayers. Also remember those who continue to stand the Thin Blue Line each day, risking their lives to keep our communities safe.

May we always honor the legacy of the fallen and support those who continue the watch.

We would like to extend our sincere congratulations to Lt. Brian Smith on being honored with the Service Above Self Award. This distinguished recognition is presented annually by the Paulding County Rotary Club to celebrate excellence in public safety.

Lt. Smith has demonstrated unwavering dedication and commitment in his service to the Paulding community. His professionalism and leadership within the Marshal Bureau are truly commendable, and we are grateful to have him as part of our team.

We had a great time at Touch a Truck 2026!!! We met some great families and saw some cool vehicles! Thank you all for your support of our agency!

We want to recognize our amazing Animal Control Officers and the PCAC staff! They play a vital role in protecting the animals in Paulding County. They have so much love and dedication for taking care of each animal that comes through the shelter.

In honor of Animal Control Officer Appreciation week, the Paulding County Human Resources Dept. took goody bags to the staff. Please join us in saying thank you to the PCAC staff. We truly appreciate all of you and your hard work!
