Case Number: 2026-00054751

Mr. Frank Abercrombie was last heard from on May 26, 2026, at approximately 07:00 PM. He was last seen at the Texaco gas station located at Fairview Rd and Dudley Dr, wearing a gray hoodie, red t-shirt, and khaki shorts. He is 46 years old and possibly has an altered mental status. Today, the Henry County Police Explorers Post 562 had the incredible opportunity to visit the Supreme Court of Georgia, where our Explorers gained firsthand insight into the judicial system, courtroom procedures, and the vital role our courts play in upholding justice.

Experiences like this go far beyond the classroom, they inspire, educate, and help shape the future leaders of law enforcement and public service right here in Henry County.

BOLO: Critical Missing Person
Case Number: 2026-00052178

Mr. Darryl Brown was last seen on 5/18/2026 around 3:00 PM in the area of Fieldstream Way in Stockbridge, exhibiting manic-like behavior. He is 64 years old and has an altered mental status. Mr. Brown was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, Chicago Bear hat, and blue/black Jordan 12’s. He also has a knot on the side of his head.

The accident on the interstate just past Exit 212 has been cleared and traffic is beginning to move again.

Please continue to use caution as congestion may persist while traffic returns to normal.

An accident on the interstate I-75 N just past Exit 212 (Locust Grove) has traffic currently at a standstill.

Please use alternate routes if possible and expect significant delays in the area.

Emergency crews are on scene working to clear the accident.

As a reminder, when you see emergency vehicles on the side of the road, slow down and move over

BOLO: Theft by Taking
Case Number: 2026-00048371

On Sunday, May 10, 2026, the male suspect shown entered the RaceTrac Gas station, located at 1200 Jonesboro Road, McDonough, GA. The suspect took a cell phone belonging to another customer from the cashier’s counter and left the store with it, depriving the victim from her property.

BOLO: Identity Theft
Case Number: 2026-00046224

On 5/4/26, the unknown male pictured below entered the CVS located at 2098 Highway 20 W in McDonough and posed as the victim to fraudulently obtain a package containing a Google Pixel cellular phone valued at approximately $1,100. The suspect presented an identification card displayed on a cellular phone to CVS employees and identified himself as the victim. Believing the suspect to be the rightful owner of the package, employees released the package to him. The suspect then exited the business with the package.
